My sick babies!

Well, for the last week or so maddy and jonny have been getting sick. Nothing too bad, just a cough and the sniffles. So I gave them cough medicine and they seemed to be getting better. Then Thursday afternoon Jonny stated running a fever of 106 :0. So I gave him some Motrin and I took him to Urgent care. I had to take Maddy too because she was throwing up all day. So they were both seen by the doctor(luckily jonny's temp went down to 101). They determined that maddy had Strep throat and jonny had an ear infection. So they get their medicine and everything seemed fine. Well Friday night Maddy's temp was 106! So I gave her Motrin and stripped her and wiped her down with a cool washcloth. After that I took her temp and it went down to about 102 and she went back to sleep. So when she woke up I checked her again and it had went up to 104. So after giving her tylenol and motrin all day it never went below 102. So after it went back up to 105 we decided to take her to the ER. We got there at 11pm and had to wait for 8 hours before we saw the doctor. In that span of time they were able get her temp down to 100 and it luckily stayed there. So when we go back to see the doctor They check her and tell us that she has strep throat, croup, and ear infection and scarlet fever. NO wonder my poor baby girl has been so miserable!! She has a lot to fight off but she seems to be doing well after sleeping for most of the day today. She was also given 2 shots of an antibiotic and 2 breathing treatments. After that we went home. Sh ehas been doing alright, she just has a horrible cough. Jonny now has strep throat and he has been miserable for the past few days. I just don't know what to do to make him comfortable. Luckily he is already on Amoxocillian so he will hopefully kick all of it. Now today I took Lizzie to Urgent care and found out she has an ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. So all of them are taking Amoxicillin and resting as much as I can get them too. I just want my kiddos to not be so miserable:( I wish there was a magic wand that I could wave to make it all go away. Hopefully this week will be a better one.
